Warwickshire and Worcestershire have a long tradition of fruit growing.

The orchard at Coughton Court echoes this history with its focus on old and traditional varieties from the local area, especially apples and pears. The plums and cherries growing on the walls are more utilitarian and include varieties from the local surrounds. There are some unusual fruits including quinces, medlars and – recently added – The Worcestershire Black Pear.
